welcome to.2026 (Q2 of 21st century)
Welcome to 2026: Q2 of the 21st Century.
Today marks the end of Q1 (2001-2025) and the dawn of Q2(2026-2050) in the 21st century. This first quarter will be remembered for invasions and the rapid adoption of technology. Our generation has endured it all: wars, financial collapses, recessions, climate change, natural disasters, health crises, and a spiritual uprising.
We witnessed the IT revolution, digital innovation, and the meteoric rise of smartphones—growing like Everest. The century began in 2001 with the 9/11 attacks, laying the foundation for endless wars and testing grounds for next-gen weapons.
In 2007, the global recession shattered millions of jobs, bursting the IT bubble before a slow, steady rebirth.
By 2009, smartphones conquered India, reshaping social structures. Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram evolved from platforms into earning tools and lifestyle essentials.
Natural disasters struck hard: Japan's tsunami, Indonesia's earthquake, Mumbai's floods, Australia's and Brazil's wildfires. Then came 2020's COVID wave—one of life's scariest chapters. It shifted mindsets, highlighted health's primacy, and exposed our helplessness against nature and disease.Yet here we stand. The world divides by religion but unites for survival. Faith in God endures, as seen at Mahakumbh 2025.
These 25 years overflow with memories, stories, hope, faith, love, care—and our unbreakable spirit.
Wishing you a very Happy New Year and a thriving second quarter of this century!
